During a round of betting, each player can, in turn:
Fold: the player throws away his hand and does not play until the next deal.
Call: the player bets his chips to put in the pot a sum equal to the last bet. If he has not enough money to call the last bet, he may stay in the game if he puts all his remaining chips: he goes all in. If he wins he only wins an amount of money equal to his bet, the remaining chips are won by the player having the second hand.
Raise: the player increases the amount of the previous bet
Check: the player passes up the right to start the betting in a betting round, while retaining the right to continue in the hand. When the last player in the round says “check” he is said to obtain a free card as the next card dealt costs him no bet.
The game ends when:
* there is only one player left in the game. He wins the pot without having to show his hand.
* there is no other round of betting. Then, it is the showdown, when the players’ hands are compared to determine the best one. In case of equality, the pot is shared between the winners.
